Karen Adrienne was honored by Mayor Pat Hart, and the City of Gardiner for her 20 yrs of dedication to growing the arts in Gardiner. Karen acknowledged the key role of her son Kerstin Gilg, and all of the artists and art business of Gardiner. It was a festive evening with the mayor giving Karen a proclamation from the City and her own day of May 17th which is the first Artwalk Gardiner of 2024.

2024 Artwalks - May 17, August 16 and December 6

5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The mission of Artwalk Gardiner is to increase community awareness and appreciation of the visual arts, encourage familiarity among local artists and the general public, provide artists with a supportive network, and foster the creative economy through regular art exhibitions in the downtown of Gardiner.

Artwalk Gardiner has traditionally been held in the evenings as a collaboration among local merchants, Gardiner Main Street, and area artists.

The event features art in exhibition spaces throughout the city. Both traditional (studios and galleries) and untraditional (active businesses and vacant storefronts) spaces are used.
